Kharisma: Jurnal Ilmiah Teologi employs a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the academic quality and integrity of all published articles.
Initial Screening: Upon submission, the Editorial Team evaluates the manuscript to ensure it aligns with the journal's Focus and Scope, complies with the Author Guidelines, and passes the initial similarity check (Plagiarism Policy). Manuscripts that do not meet these basic criteria may be rejected directly by the editor (Desk Rejection).
Double-Blind Review: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers. This journal strictly applies a Double-Blind Peer Review system, meaning both the reviewers' and the authors' identities are completely concealed from each other throughout the evaluation process to prevent bias.
Review Criteria: Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, theoretical framework, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, and significance of the contribution to the field of theology.
Final Decision: Based on the recommendations provided by the reviewers, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision. The possible decisions are: Accept Submission, Revisions Required, Resubmit for Review, or Decline Submission.
